Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable

The Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable (CRWR) is a multi-stakeholder and Indigenous knowledge collective within the Lower Coquitlam River Watershed, whose mission is to

  • Provide a forum to encourage holistic watershed planning into development, conservation and restoration in the watershed.
  • Inform, educate and engage community members in the critical importance of a vibrant and resilient watershed ecosystem.
  • Advance Watershed Plan Implementation strategies with the support of Indigenous knowledge, governing bodies and community groups to mitigate impacts of urbanization and stormwater to environmentally sensitive habitat.

This atlas is intended to be used as a resource tool for community members, including developers, planners, biologists, environmental and other organizations who are seeking information about or wishing to engage in environmentally-friendly projects within the watershed. Users can access and input geospatial information about the watershed and low-impact development, fish, wildlife and habitat projects in the area.

The goal of this project is to encourage the preservation and development of a healthy watershed and to track the progress of our Lower Coquitlam River Watershed Plan.
